Upvoty Pricing & Review (2026): Plans, Costs, Pros & Cons
Upvoty is a customer feedback tool with voting boards, a public roadmap and a changelog. Upvoty pricing is a monthly or yearly subscription.
Upvoty has three self-serve plans in 2026: Power at $15 a month, Super at $25 and Hyper at $49, or $13.50, $22.50 and $44.10 a month billed annually (10% off). Prices are flat per project, with unlimited boards and tracked users. There is no free plan, only a 14-day trial with no credit card. Enterprise is priced on request.
Prices checked on upvoty.com/pricing on October 25, 2026.
Upvoty Pricing at a Glance (2026)
Annual figures come from the page's own Annual toggle, which takes 10% off.
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually, per month | Cost per year (annual / monthly billing) | Projects | Included | Not included |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Power | $15 | $13.50 | $162 / $180 | 1 | Unlimited boards and tracked users, roadmap, custom branding and domain, email support | Custom SSO, API access and "No Upvoty branding" struck through. No changelog or integrations. |
| Super (Most popular) | $25 | $22.50 | $270 / $300 | 1 | Unlimited boards and tracked users, custom domain, changelog, all integrations, no Upvoty branding, priority support | Custom SSO struck through. |
| Hyper | $49 | $44.10 | $529.20 / $588 | Unlimited | Everything in Super, Custom SSO, SAML SSO, Upvoty MCP, API and webhooks | Nothing struck through. |
| Enterprise | On request | Not published | Not published | Unlimited | SAML SSO, a custom DPA and a dedicated success manager | Not applicable. |
The page says "Cancel anytime." Upvoty's Terms (updated June 9, 2026) add that paid plans renew automatically and that fees are non-refundable except where the law requires.
How Upvoty Pricing Works
You Pay per Project, Not per User, Seat or Board
The bill depends on the plan and the number of projects. Every plan includes unlimited boards and tracked users (people who post, vote or comment), so a busy board costs no more.
The pricing page shows no admin cap, and Upvoty's comparison page against Canny ticks "Unlimited admins". Confirm it before you rely on it.
A project is one product with its own portal. Upvoty's October 2025 pricing page showed "1 project (e.g. Apple)" against Hyper's "Multi-Projects (e.g. Apple, Google, Amazon)". The live page gives no definition, so ask how a second portal is counted.
Some directories still list Upvoty at "$15 per user". The live page charges per project, not per user, seat or board.
Annual Billing Saves 10%
Billed annually, Power, Super and Hyper cost $162, $270 and $529.20 a year, against $180, $300 and $588 billed monthly (as of October 2026). The saving is $18, $30 and $58.80 a year.
The 14-Day Free Trial
Every plan starts with a 14-day trial and no credit card. Upvoty's public pages do not say which plan the trial runs on or what happens to your portal when it ends.
What Each Upvoty Plan Gets You
Power ($15 a Month): A Board and Roadmap for One Product
The card says "For solo founders validating product ideas." It has no changelog, so you cannot announce shipped requests, and Upvoty branding stays on the portal.
Super ($25 a Month): The Realistic Entry Plan
Telling voters a request shipped needs the Upvoty changelog, which starts on Super. So the practical entry price is $25 a month, or $22.50 billed annually (as of October 2026). It still covers one project, without Custom SSO.
Hyper ($49 a Month): Several Products, SSO, API and MCP
Hyper adds unlimited projects, SSO, API and webhooks, and the Upvoty MCP server for AI tools like Claude and Cursor.
Billed annually, it costs $529.20 a year, while two Super plans cost $540. Two products? Price Hyper first.
Enterprise: On Request
Enterprise is quoted at hi@upvoty.com. The team roles page adds custom roles and SCIM on enterprise plans.
Upvoty's Own Pages Disagree About What Each Plan Includes
The pricing page gates some features by plan. Other Upvoty pages say the same features come with every plan. Both were read on October 25, 2026.
| Feature | Pricing page | Other Upvoty pages |
|---|---|---|
| API access | Struck through on Power. Listed on Hyper. | The Upvoty API page FAQ: "Every plan includes API access", with higher rate limits on higher plans. |
| Webhooks | Listed on Hyper. | The webhooks page and data exports page: every plan. |
| SSO | Custom SSO struck through on Power and Super. Custom and SAML SSO on Hyper. | The features page lists User SSO under "Every feature, every plan". The Upvoty SSO page labels only SAML and OIDC "For enterprise plans and internal portals". |
| Integrations | "All integrations" on Super and Hyper. None on Power. | The integrations page: every paid plan, though some plans cap active integrations. The Slack page: free on every plan, "including the starter tier". |
| Upvoty MCP | Listed on Hyper. | Features page: "Every feature, every plan". |
| Merge AI, smart tags, moderation, 20+ languages, CSV export | Not mentioned. | Features page: "Every feature, every plan". |
Treat the pricing page as what you are billed for. If Power or Super must include API access, SSO, Slack or MCP, get Upvoty (hi@upvoty.com) to confirm it in writing before you pay. Comparison pages repeat one side or the other, so some say Power includes SSO and the API.
What Upvoty Really Costs: Worked Examples
These figures use list prices from upvoty.com/pricing on October 25, 2026, with no discounts and no tax.
| Scenario | Plan that fits | Year 1 billed annually | Year 1 billed monthly | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Solo founder validating one product | Power | $162 | $180 | Upvoty branding stays. No changelog. |
| Small SaaS team that announces releases and wants Slack or Intercom | Super | $270 | $300 | The realistic entry plan. |
| Two products, or an app plus a separate website portal | Hyper | $529.20 | $588 | Two Super plans cost $540 annually or $600 monthly. |
| A team that needs SSO, the API, webhooks or MCP | Hyper | $529.20 | $588 | Per the pricing page. |
Over three years, Super billed annually comes to 3 x $270 = $810, and Hyper to 3 x $529.20 = $1,587.60, if list prices hold. They have moved before.
Voters never change the Upvoty bill. Tracked-user tools work differently: Canny Pro starts at $79 a month billed yearly for 100 tracked users and rises from there. Upvoty Super is $22.50 a month billed annually (both as of October 25, 2026).
Upvoty's Price History: Why Other Sites Show Different Numbers
Internet Archive snapshots of upvoty.com/pricing, opened on October 25, 2026, show five price lists since mid-2024.
| Snapshot date | Entry plan | Middle plan | Top self-serve plan | Billing basis |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| June 13, 2024 | Power $15: 1 board, 3 admins, 150 tracked users | Super Power $49: 5 boards, 10 admins, 1,500 tracked users | Unlimited Power $119: 10,000+ tracked users, plus $49 per extra 10,000 | Per board, with tracked-user caps |
| May 1, 2025 | Power $15 | Super $49 | Hyper $99 (3 projects) | Per project |
| October 8, 2025 to February 1, 2026 | Power $15 | Super $25 | Hyper $49 | Per project |
| February 14 to May 9, 2026 | Power $25 | Super $49 | Hyper $99 | Per project |
| June 11, 2026 to October 25, 2026 | Power $15 | Super $25 | Hyper $49 | Per project |
This is why directories and older pages still show $25, $49 and $99, or per-board pricing. Plan contents move too: in June 2026 Power had no custom domain, and today it does.
The archive cannot show whether existing customers moved between prices, and 2026 reviewers say rises came without an email notice. Before you buy:
- Screenshot the plan page when you pay.
- Check the plan page inside your account too. One reviewer says it showed higher prices than the public page.
- Ask Upvoty whether your price is fixed for the billing term.
Upvoty Review: What It Does Well
- Flat pricing. Unlimited tracked users and boards on every plan.
- A custom domain from $15. Power includes it as of October 2026.
- A broad feature list. The features page puts moderation, Merge AI duplicate detection, smart tags, revenue segments, a portal in 20+ languages and CSV export on every plan.
- MCP on Hyper. Teams can query and update feedback from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor.
- Integrations. Slack, Microsoft Teams, Intercom, HubSpot, Jira, Linear and Zapier, plus webhooks.
- Easy to try. A 14-day trial with no card, plus a public demo portal that needs no signup.
Upvoty Cons: Where the Plans and the Price Pinch
- No free plan. Power at $15 a month (as of October 2026) is the floor.
- The changelog starts on Super. Power cannot close the loop with release notes.
- One project below Hyper. A second product means Hyper or a second plan.
- Unclear plan gates. SSO, the API, webhooks and MCP sit on Hyper per the pricing page but on every plan per other pages.
- A moving price list. Prices changed several times from 2024 to 2026.
- No surveys. No Upvoty feature page offers NPS, CSAT or in-app surveys (checked October 25, 2026).
- Thin public docs. help.upvoty.com did not load in a browser on October 25, 2026, and Upvoty's own portal changelog asks you to log in.
Upvoty Reviews: What Users Say
Review counts are small. Ratings were read in a browser on October 25, 2026.
| Review site | Rating | Number of reviews |
|---|---|---|
| G2 | 2.4 out of 5 | 9 |
| Capterra | 4.5 out of 5 | 8 |
| Software Advice | 4.5 out of 5 | 8 |
| Trustpilot | 3.6 out of 5 | 4 |
Older Capterra reviews, from 2019 to 2022, praise easy setup, simple roadmap sharing and quick support. One found board and status admin confusing.
The newest review on G2, Capterra and Trustpilot, all from September 2026, gives the lowest score over price changes made without notice. One says the price rose from $25 to $49 and that Upvoty pointed to a banner on its website. Trustpilot's other three recent reviews give five stars.
Who Should Pay for Upvoty (and Who Should Not)
Upvoty fits one web product that wants a board, roadmap and changelog at a flat price, busy public boards, multi-product teams on Hyper, and products that need a translated portal.
Look elsewhere if you need a free plan or NPS and CSAT surveys, want SSO or the API without Hyper, or would rather pay once than subscribe.
Upvoty Alternatives Worth Pricing
Other tools use other models. Sleekplan and UserJot have free plans, Featurebase prices paid plans per seat, and Fider is open source, so you can host it yourself.
Tiny Team Feedback: Best for Small Teams That Would Rather Pay Once
Tiny Team's Feedback module puts boards, a roadmap, a changelog and surveys in one module. It is a one-time purchase for your whole organization, with no subscription and no per-seat or per-voter fees.
- As many boards as you need, each private or public. Customers post, vote and comment on public boards after verifying their email.
- A drag-and-drop roadmap, plus a read-only public view.
- A changelog with scheduling and emails to subscribers. Publishing can mark linked requests completed.
- NPS, CSAT, customer-effort and product-market-fit surveys, shared by portal link or a website popup.
- A branded portal on your own subdomain, and a widget that embeds a board, the roadmap or the changelog.
Where it falls short: there is no AI, so duplicates are merged by hand. It has no integrations, webhooks, public API or SSO (customers verify by email).
There is no moderation queue, tags, multi-language portal or CSV import, so moving from Upvoty means re-entering requests by hand. Pick Upvoty if you need any of those.
| Option | How you pay | Changelog | NPS and CSAT surveys | Integrations, API and SSO |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Upvoty Super | $25 a month, or $22.50 billed annually, per project (October 2026) | Yes | Not listed | Integrations on Super. SSO and API on Hyper, per the pricing page. |
| Tiny Team Feedback | One-time payment per module; see current prices | Yes | Yes | None |
If a board, a roadmap, a changelog and surveys cover what your team needs, see current prices, or create a free workspace and start the Feedback trial from Modules & Billing when you are ready. The free trial needs no credit card.
Final Verdict
Upvoty is fair value for one web product on Super at $22.50 to $25 a month (as of October 2026). Unlimited tracked users beat tracked-user pricing as a board grows.
The catches: the changelog starts on Super, Hyper is needed for a second project, Upvoty's own pages disagree on plan gates, and prices have moved often. Small teams that only need a board, roadmap, changelog and surveys should price a one-time option, like the one above, first.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Upvoty free?
No. Upvoty has no free plan, only a 14-day free trial with no credit card. After it, Power at $15 a month ($13.50 billed annually, as of October 2026) is the cheapest plan.
Why do review sites list different Upvoty prices?
Upvoty has changed its price list several times: $15, $49 and $119 in June 2024, when plans were capped by boards and tracked users, and $25, $49 and $99 from February to May 2026. The June 11, 2026 snapshot shows $15, $25 and $49 again. Older figures, or per-user pricing, are out of date.
Does Upvoty charge per user or per project?
Per project. Every plan includes unlimited boards and tracked users. Power and Super cover one product with its own portal, and a second product needs Hyper ($529.20 a year billed annually, as of October 2026) or a second plan.
Does Upvoty have SSO and an API?
Yes, but the plan is unclear. The pricing page puts SSO, the API and webhooks on Hyper ($49 a month as of October 2026), while other Upvoty pages say every plan. Get written confirmation before you buy a lower plan for them.
Which Upvoty plan includes the changelog?
Super and Hyper. Power has a board and a public roadmap but no changelog, so release notes start at Super, $25 a month (as of October 2026).
