UserVoice Pricing & Review (2026): Real Costs, Pros & Cons

UserVoice pricing is hard to pin down. The vendor sells only on quotes, and the figures quoted online run from $499 a month to $16,000 a year.

UserVoice no longer publishes prices. Its pricing page (checked October 25, 2026) quotes each plan on feedback volume, tools and integrations, never per seat, with a 30-day trial after a demo. From January to June 2026 the same page said "Starting at $16,000 per year", and Vendr's buyer data puts the median contract at $16,719 a year.

UserVoice Pricing at a Glance (2026)

  • No published price. The live page shows no plans and no figures, just a "Talk to an Expert" button.
  • What sets the quote: feedback volume, the tools you use and the integrations you connect. Never seats.
  • Trial: 30 days, but only after a demo. There is no self-serve sign-up.
  • Onboarding: most teams launch in 4 to 6 weeks with a dedicated success manager. Bulk import runs by CSV or API.

The $16,000 floor was gone by the August 16, 2026 snapshot. UserVoice also sold a survey product, UserVoice Validation, at $199 a month billed quarterly or $169 on a yearly deal. It was listed until at least June 2025 and gone by November 2025.

What UserVoice Really Costs: The Numbers You See Online, Explained

Search for UserVoice cost and you will find at least seven figures. Here is where each one comes from.

Figure you will see Where it appears What it actually is
$16,000 a year UserVoice's pricing page, January to June 2026, and vendor posts that repeat it UserVoice's own floor in early 2026. It was removed by August.
Median $16,719 a year (range $9,996 to $56,275) Vendr, last updated February 2026 Vendr's figure from its buyers' contracts. It does not say how many.
$10,788, $14,388 and $16,188 a year Vendor comparison posts from 2025 12 times the 2024 to 2025 yearly rates of $899, $1,199 and $1,349.
$699 to $1,499 a month Vendor posts, December 2023 to March 2026 The 2023 to 2025 list prices in the table above.
$999 a month for 200 users A 2025 vendor post A mix-up. 200 end users was the old Essentials limit. Pro, Growth and Engage covered 1,000.
$899 to $1,349 per user a month An undated buying directory The 2024 yearly rates per account, labelled per user by mistake.
About $12,000 a year A 2026 vendor comparison page Close to the old Pro tier billed quarterly ($999 x 12 = $11,988).
$499 a month An undated directory and an undated vendor page Old pricing. The archived UserVoice pages checked, from December 2022 on, start at $699.

The takeaway: if you ask for a quote today, plan for a number in the low-to-mid five figures a year. The best public evidence is UserVoice's own $16,000 floor and Vendr's February 2026 median of $16,719. Neither is a current list price, because UserVoice has none.

How UserVoice Prices a Plan Today

What Drives Your Quote

The live page names three drivers: feedback volume, the tools you use and the integrations you connect. Older pages counted "unique end users providing feedback" in bands of 200 to 5,000. Ask how UserVoice counts volume now: votes, ideas, end users or imported sources.

The Seat Question

The pricing page says plans are never priced by seat. Yet the help article Change the Account Owner (last edited July 7, 2022, still live) notes that on some plans, adding an admin may raise your monthly rate. That note predates the current pricing and may describe older plans.

Vendr also says, from its own buyer data, that UserVoice pricing varies by admin seats. Ask whether admin count affects your quote, and get the answer in writing.

Billing, Contracts and Cancelling

Card customers cancel in the Billing Portal, and the account closes at the end of the billing period. Invoice customers go through their Account Manager (Cancel Your Account, edited February 1, 2026).

Vendr reports yearly price rises of 5 to 8%, renewal uplifts of 10 to 20% unless negotiated, and 15 to 25% off for two- or three-year terms. These are Vendr's figures, not UserVoice's.

Add-Ons and Extra Costs

  • AI Package: AI Idea Insights, Impact Reports and AI Themes & Trends are an add-on (edited October 1, 2026).
  • NPS: the NPS widget is an add-on.
  • Services: Vendr puts onboarding for Enterprise buyers at $2,000 to $10,000 or more.
  • Time: 4 to 6 weeks to launch, per the pricing page.

Worked Example: Three Years at the Reported Median

This is an estimate built on Vendr's median, not a quote. At $16,719 a year with no rises, three years cost $50,157. With the 5 to 8% yearly rises Vendr describes, the total lands between about $52,700 and $54,300, before onboarding fees.

For scale, the old Pro list price came to $10,788 a year on yearly billing, and Premium to $16,188.

What Each UserVoice Plan Includes

The live pricing page names no tiers. But the help center still labels features "UserVoice Discovery Essentials, Pro and Premium".

Those labels are the best public map of what each price buys. Each date is the article's last text edit, read October 25, 2026.

Does UserVoice Have a Free Plan or Free Trial?

There is no free plan and no self-serve sign-up. The trial lasts 30 days and starts after a demo, when UserVoice sets up a workspace for your team. Older snapshots show 21 days with no card in 2023, 14 days in mid 2024, then a sales-led flow.

When Curious announced its purchase of UserVoice on November 13, 2025, it said it would bring back a self-service model. As of October 25, 2026, the pricing page still sends everyone to "Talk to an Expert".

UserVoice Review: What It Does Well

  • Revenue-aware priorities. CRM data from Salesforce and HubSpot, account traits and impact by segment.
  • Capture where customers talk. Sales and support staff log feedback from Zendesk, Slack, Microsoft Teams and a Chrome extension.
  • Fast-moving AI. Themes, idea insights, an agent in the admin console (beta since June 2026) and an MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and Codex (beta since September 2026).
  • No per-seat pricing, so sales, success and product can all use it.
  • Maturity. Around since at least 2008. Its new owner says it has helped 3,500+ companies, naming Adobe, Intuit and Netflix. The homepage lists SOC 2 Type II.

UserVoice Cons and What to Watch

  • No public price, and a demo before any trial. You cannot budget without a sales call.
  • Yearly contracts, with price rises and renewal uplifts reported by Vendr.
  • A shareable roadmap, a custom domain and Jira sync sit in Premium.
  • The AI Package costs extra.
  • Launch takes 4 to 6 weeks.
  • No standalone public changelog turned up on UserVoice's site or help center. Status updates and supporter emails close the loop instead.
  • Plans keep moving: a new owner, three renames in fourteen months, and the price list removed in 2026.

How These Tools Were Compared

Prices were checked on each vendor's own pricing page on October 25, 2026. UserVoice's price history comes from Internet Archive snapshots of its pricing page.

Plan limits come from its help center, dated by each article's last edit. Contract figures are Vendr's and are labelled that way.

Who Should Pay for UserVoice (and Who Should Not)

Pay for it if you run a B2B SaaS company whose sales and success teams need feedback tied to CRM revenue, Jira or Azure DevOps sync, end-user SSO and guided onboarding, with a five-figure yearly budget.

Skip it if you want to start this week without a sales call, mainly need a public board, roadmap and changelog, or need a fixed, published price.

Feedback Tools You Can Price Without a Sales Call

These options publish a price or a self-serve trial. Prices are as of October 2026.

1. Canny: Best for a Free Start With AI Capture

Canny runs feedback boards, a roadmap and a changelog, with its Autopilot AI in every plan. Its pricing page lists Free for 25 tracked users and Pro from $79 a month billed yearly. CRM and SSO integrations sit on the custom Business plan.

2. Featurebase: Best for Feedback Plus a Help Desk

Featurebase sells feedback and help desk tools in one plan. Its pricing page shows a free plan with 1 seat, then $29 per seat a month billed yearly, plus $0.49 per AI resolution.

3. Frill: Best for a Flat Monthly Price

Frill offers an idea board, roadmap, announcements and surveys. Its pricing page starts at $25 a month billed monthly, or $22 billed yearly, with unlimited admins. The 14-day free trial needs no credit card.

4. Tiny Team Feedback: Best for Small Teams That Want to Start Without a Sales Call

Concept loop of a feedback board feeding a roadmap and changelog, with emails back to voters and a survey
Concept: board, roadmap, changelog, voter emails and surveys on one portal.

Tiny Team's Feedback module puts feedback boards, a roadmap, a changelog and surveys in one module, on a branded portal that can run on your own subdomain. It is a one-time purchase for your whole organization, with no subscription and no per-seat or per-voter fees. An admin starts the free trial without a demo or a credit card, and nothing is charged automatically.

  • Key features: private or public boards, with customers posting, voting and commenting on public boards after verifying their email; up to 20 statuses per board; a drag-and-drop roadmap with a public view; a changelog with scheduling and subscriber emails; NPS, CSAT, customer effort and product-market fit surveys; an embeddable widget.
  • Pros: self-serve setup, and voters get an email when a status changes.
  • Where it falls short: no AI (duplicates are merged by hand), no integrations such as Jira, Slack, Zendesk or Salesforce, no webhooks or public API, no SSO, no revenue weighting, no custom fields, no moderation queue, and no CSV import or export. Moving from UserVoice means re-entering requests by hand.
  • Best for: a small team that wants a public board, roadmap, changelog and surveys without a yearly contract. Pick UserVoice if you need CRM revenue data, Jira sync, end-user SSO, an API, AI or guided onboarding.

Final Verdict

UserVoice is a mature, enterprise-grade feedback platform. Its value is CRM-linked priorities, capture from customer-facing teams and guided onboarding.

It now sells only on quotes, and the best public evidence puts a contract in the low-to-mid five figures a year. If a board, roadmap, changelog and surveys are all you need, price one of the self-serve or one-time options above before you book the demo.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does UserVoice cost?

UserVoice is quote-only today: its pricing page said "Starting at $16,000 per year" from January to June 2026, and Vendr's February 2026 median is $16,719 a year. The last published list (November 2025) was $899 or $1,349 a month on yearly billing. Ask whether admin count changes the quote.

What is UserVoice and what does it do?

UserVoice is customer feedback software. It collects feedback from a branded portal, an in-app widget, a Chrome extension, Slack and other sources. It uses AI to group themes, links feedback to revenue, and supports roadmaps, Jira and status updates to customers.

Is UserVoice legit?

Yes. UserVoice has been around since at least 2008, its new owner says it has helped 3,500+ companies, and its homepage lists SOC 2 Type II. Curious, a long-term software holding company, announced its purchase on November 13, 2025, and CEO Matt Young stayed on.

UserVoice vs Canny: which costs less?

Canny publishes its prices (Free for 25 tracked users, Pro from $79 a month billed yearly, checked October 25, 2026), and you can sign up without a call. UserVoice is quote-only, with a last public floor of $16,000 a year. For a small team, Canny's entry price is lower, though its bill grows with tracked users.

Can you cancel UserVoice early and get a refund?

Card customers cancel in the Billing Portal, and the account closes at the end of the billing period. Invoice customers contact their Account Manager. The help center says UserVoice gives no refunds for accounts cancelled early, so check the contract term before you sign.
